Life has become a sequel of never ending torment;

Love, a thoughtless thoroughfare without vigor or spirit.

Walking aimlessly amongst the stone faces of humanity

I can feel no warmth;

I read no signs of emotion in faces that bare no expression.

My thoughts are projected outward

trying desperately to grasp a steady foot-hold on reality,

Try as I may confusion fills the void;

Hopelessness becomes my constant companion.

There is no route in which to flee the corrupting elements of mankind,

Only a perplexing end to all thoughts of serenity.
